Our strength is that all our team members have a strong passion for horses and the horse sport in general, but in particular for horses’ health and well-being. Furthermore, we actively seek interaction with our customers. We continuously invite equestrians to test our products, provide feedback and share ideas on new product features and functionality. Therefore we can truly say that IPOS Technology is developed for riders, by riders.
Menke has been active in developing equestrian technology since 2008.
She is a doctor in Veterinary Medicine and holds a license for dressage coaching. She is a respected member of the International Society for Equitation Science (ISES), the Royal Dutch Association for Horse Veterinarians (KNMvD) and the Royal Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS).
It was during Menke’s veterinary studies that she developed the idea for the rein sensor. Her experience as a dressage instructor enabled her to see connections between the data of the rein sensor and performance in the sport.
Mariël has a master’s degree in biology, owns a gorgeous Arabian mare and has a deeply rooted passion for horses. Over the years she followed several horse-related educations in the field of hoof trimming, equine sport massage, classical ground work and equine osteopathy.
Mariël joined IPOS in 2016. She brings international business experience to the team.
Brenden is a Canadian Showjumper with a bachelor’s degree in International Economy and Finance and a master’s degree in International Tax Law. He has over 10 years of experience in Private Equity occupying different positions as CEO and CFO for SME’s of different origin.

Jasmijn is a competition horse rider/trainer on amateur and subtop level. Over the years she has trained several horses to subtop level. Most of these horses were ‘problem’ horses, with physical and mental problems. She finds it a challenge to retrain horses with ‘issues’ to become happy, healthy and reliable sport horses.
Jasmijn has a bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics and Law and worked for over 10 years as a project manager/policy adviser, leading innovating projects to improve human health care. Jasmijn is our education manager as she has been organizing masterclasses for horse & lifestyle. She loves to write creative and inspirational blogs and texts.
Jasmijn brings project management skills, text writing skills and creative input to the team.
Valerie is a bachelor student in Animal Husbandry majoring in Equine, Leisure & Sports. During her final year of study she is writing her thesis for IPOS about customer validation for the Rein Sensors. Besides that, she is responsible for the department of Customer Support.
She has ridden and managed various international showjumping and hunting horses during her internship at Ashwood Farm LLC. in the United States. She shows her KWPN mare from Concorde at local showjumping competitions.
In November 2016 Tanya started her internship at IPOS, as an Animal Husbandry student. Even though she is currently not an intern anymore, she still writes our Sensors & Science blogs.
From the age of four Tanya has ridden at riding schools, mainly as a dressage rider. Every year her riding school competes in the Dutch national championships in a team sport originating from tournaments in the Middle Ages.
